You can check by looking at the side of the body on the bottom edge.. the 61' reissues were mostly one piece. But it does not matter in the slightest. That's a great guitar! I do like the small guard on black....I know it SHOULD make me think Sabbath, but it makes me think Sick Of It All first! White ones need small guards too! Cherry, for me, needs the big guard!
