Members The Rover
What happened to the DIY forum? Anyway, I hope someone can help me here. Ive got a Gibson Melody Maker with a Lace Sensor in the bridge and a generic single coil in the neck. They sound great on their own but the middle position is out of phase. I can't remember how to fix this. Can someone please help? Thanks. :catvery-happy:
Members PrawnHeed
Reverse the hot and ground wires on either one of the pickups.
Members The Rover
I tried that with the neck pickup and it still sounded out of phase. Im just plugging straight into the pickgaurd with the pickups in it which I removed so im testing the pickups by tapping them with a screwdriver. The middle position sounds more quiet than either pickup alone. :robotindifferent:
Members PrawnHeed
Well reversing the wires reverses the phase, so it is not a phase issue.Try a different screwdriver Or fix the switch.
