Members dave17oh
anybody know what the deal is with the paiste prototype cymbals? i heard they are actually prototype cymbals that just didn't make it into any of their other lines of cymbals. so if that's the case, then is each one a one of a kind? I got an 18" prototype china and i love it. any info would be great.
Members Fafnir777
I don't know if they still do it, but Paiste used to make prototypes for people - essentially you could literally have a custom made cymbal. Tim
Members MattACaster
I've been wondering about these. My drummer just picked up a Prototype 20" ride. It was the number 76 stamped on the bottom too.
Members frozin
I think they are prototypes of the new line that was just released. Did you get it at guitar center? That's the only place I've heard of or seen them at, so I am assuming that they exclusivly bought a ton of them or something. Pretty cool either way.
