Members Rolandtd8 Posted November 24, 2005 Members Share Posted November 24, 2005 I always do this as a warm up, I play a paradiddle, which is- RLRRLRLL. This is great as a slow thing and repeated, then speed it up faster and faster, then take it around the drums, add the bass drum with 4/4 time and split it like, snare=is left strokes, floor tom is right strokes.it will build up cordination, speed and accuracy at the same time. I Like to use them as warm ups over double bass. One of my favorites is to play 16ths on the double pedal, right hand on ride and left on snare. Accent the down strokes and ghost everything else.
