Members B-Bottom
I just bought a cheapo kit and it's missing a ride. So i'd like to find one that isn't very expensive but still sounds decent. This kit is more just to mess around with and give me something else to do besides play bass. thanks
Members BroadST
If your from Harrisburg, did you try Dale's? I know they are always selling used stuff. You may be able to find a decent sounding used ride and you can try it out before buying as well.

Members wmcutter
I have a Wuhan and a Dream Bliss ride that I lilke the sound of but that's personal preference. For Wuhan, find a store that has some and try them. Each cymbal can sound quite different. Try before you buy. For Dream cymbals, try www.frontrangebronze.com. He has soundfiles for each individual cymbal. Not as good as in person but you can hear the cymbal you might want to buy. Again, I like them but that's me. Prices are good. Members e-b-e
Consider going used, you're likely to get a better quality cymbal for your money. If going new and on a budget, be sure to check out the Paiste PST 5 20in Ride, I think it's the best budget ride out there for the money, and you should be able to find it for about $113. This entire drum kit cost me $150 so I wasn't looking spend almost that much on just one cymbal.
Members Drumstix61
All great choices listed I say, Sabian B8-Pros. @ B-Bottom; What kind of music you play? That will determine the size of your ride. 20" is a "crash cymbal",to some.....not a ride. JK,,, a ride could be a 14" if it works for what you play I guess. B-bottom, you get what you pay for mate. Spend wisely!:)

Members marko46
LOL - Has anyone every bought anything from them? Every time I go there I get just a little closer to making a purchase. Honestly, I finally got to play the crash I just bought today. It came shipped and packed very securely, four large foam pieces supporting the cymbal. everything wrapped up in plastic and packing tape- he took some time. I cleaned it up, and a nice shine was the result. There is about a millimeter of key holeing on one side which I knew about. After rehearsal today, honestly love it. Good dude, stayed in touch with me and shipped it where I needed it to go. I'll buy from him again for sure. marko:thu:
