I have a pic of myself I want to use but it definately needs some work to make it look professional. Has anyone used a Grapic artist for u'r CD's? Members TimOBrien Posted January 17, 2004 Members Share Posted January 17, 2004 I do my own (I'm a former catalog studio manager) but you should first check out the high schools and colleges in your area. Bet they have plenty of computer artists that would LOVE to do it for free or low cost so they can get a resume credit (pay 'em something even if its only a few bucks... don't make people work for nothing when you wouldn't yourself.) Lotsa students have a hard time getting that first design project just the way you did getting your first gig.... pass the favor on yourself. You'll get lots of bids from very experienced designers, and the prices are so low as to astound you! Plus, you can review portfolios online and choose the designer whose price and style suit you. I've purchased graphic design, illustration, and translation services from this site and have been very pleased. I don't, however, sell my services on the site, since the prices are so low!
