Members xtranoise
I finally posted in the New Member thread up top. Found these old photos that show the kits I discussed there. I no longer own either one. My first kit. This pic is from 1979 I think. Rogers kit with Acrolite snare and CB700 "concert toms". Here are the Ludwigs I bought later. Complete with a set of "Syndrums", anybody remember those?

Members xtranoise
nice, wow did that ludwig tom arm normally go that far into the bass drum? thats the longest arm ive ever seen.........! Actually that is some Rogers hardware! After getting the Ludwigs I ordered some Rogers hardware and "modified" the kit. That is part of the old "Memory Lock" line, I think Rogers was the first to use that??? The bass drum mount had a tube that went the full "height" of the drum and bolted to the bottom. You can see the same type piece on the Rogers kit above.

Members marko46
Very nice man. I'd love to have my old Luddy's.Interesting on the tom arm deal. Today it seems we talk more about "virgin" kic's, when that system had two mounts that might limit the amout of shell resonation. But then again, we playef drums with no reso's on them too.Cool kit's man.
