Members kadrocker
What is missing from my strainer? I got this Groove Percussion snare free when i bought a Pearl snare (lady said she was tired of looking at it, it's been there for over a year) Can the part be replaced or is it easier to just buy a hole new strainer? How can i find parts for this? i know of drummaker.com but i don't know what would fit. any help/ideas/comments.
Members SYMBOLIC
I'm guessing that you would need to buy a complete strainer to fix that. I don't know if they sell the part your missing seperately. It shouldn't be too much to get a new one.
Members kadrocker
I figured (and planned) om buying an all new strainer. Some can be had for $15. Just how do I know if it'll fit in the same mount holes as the one that's there now?

Members boomerweps
Try www.drummaker.com for a cheap replacement snare throwoff. If the bolt pattern doesn't match, DRILL NEW HOLES. It's a Groove percussion, for Pete's sake. Same as a Pulse, just a generic store brand economy snare. Or you could always just remove the snare mechanism AND bottom head and use it for a timbale accent on your drum set. Boomerweps
