Members deepflight Posted July 26, 2013 Members Share Posted July 26, 2013 Sorry to admit that I just listened to the first one, and it isn't a song I know super-well, but it seems like you are a little bit off pitch wise or something. You sound especially shaky at the start, your pitch slides off from where I think you want it on that first "hey hey." I think you may be flat about 1:30 in on the "and once you're gone you can't go back" part. You settle in more and it gets better later in the song, however. 3:30 is much better. Singing sounds a bit tense, I can hear your larynx shooting upwards. I think it might be affecting the pitch as well. Singing the higher pitches still always be a challenge, even for the best singers. There's always going to be the tendency to 'grab' your throat if you're not careful.
