Members DukeOfBoom
When I do my mixed covered exercises from f4-b4, all my vowels sort of converge to oh. my ahs sound like oh, my eee goes to falsetto, "eh" goes to "oh" what do I do. how do i fix this? I know vowels converge to a degree up in the higher ranges, but what I do is ridiculously bad.
Members staticsound
Weird...the shape of your mouth has an effect on it. Try the "biting into the apple" face?
Members grace_slick
Doesn't that face, with the jaw forward, give you more "metal"...? That's what I want...I should try and apple thing.
Members staticsound
It's meant to add more bite...no pun intended...by using the resonator in your nose. It seems to also help when forming vowels in the "covered" areas of my voice? Idk...*APPLEFACE!* lol
Members grace_slick
Haha, appleface. Around here we have this place called Pie Face. It sells all different pies. My friend used to go around always saying "Shut your pie hole" and she'd say it like "hooole" like Cartman on Southpark used to talk? Kinda like heole...so whenever we see a Pie Face outlet, we say SHUT YOUR PIE HOOOOLE! (appleface reminded me of that...*weirdo*) lol
