Members T. Alan Smith
That's the Nathan East parametric EQ box, recently out of production. I've heard LOTs of raves 'bout it.
Members Jazz Ad
Tone shaping tool, basically a preset parametric EQ with a preamp. Very nice especially with a passive bass.It is very efficient and easy to use, much simpler than a real para EQ.
Members coop2001
Yea mids ARE cool. Sometimes. I've heard that some Parametric EQs are better than others. So far I've only got two recommendations- the Yamaha, and a Tech 21 Sansamp (don't think it can cut mids). Any more recommendations ? (besides forget it...) The sansamp (if you mean the stompbox) doesn't even have a mid control. Bad choice for scooping mids. I reckon any generic parametric EQ oughtta do the trick. I saw a parametric EQ with a tube the other day, that was pretty cool...

Members rovito
I own a yamaha NE1. It kicks ass for cutting mids. Buy one if you can find it.
