Looks like a KSD (Ken Smith Design, designed by Ken Smith [boutique bass builder]). KSD are not officially Ken Smith basses (his company doesn't do anything with them, Ken only designed them).

I hear those are sweet basses.

It is a Ken Smith Design (KSD) Jazz bass. 35" scale, 5 string

right now it is set to volume (push/pull active/passive), blend, treble/bass stack

but it will become:

volume (push/pull active/passive), volume (push/pull series/parallel), treble/bass stack, passive tone (via Fender no load pot if it ever comes in). And I am also getting a tort pickguard for it.

Fairly minor changes. No changes to the actual electronics.

And it is not built by Ken Smith, only designed by him. If you ask him about them, he would be more willing to cram him boot up your butt than actually help you with issues on the bass. Customer Service is done via BrooklynGear.com.

But I didn't buy it for customer service from Ken, I just wanted a 70s style jazz like this.

about as much as Sadowsky, Lull, or Lakin designed on their jazz copies. Yes, originally designed by Leo...

It has the Ken Smith BT preamp in it.
