Members Thumper
Cool. I just set up my defretted '62 Jazz reissue with flats, and I'm getting a tone I'd longed for. Let us know how it works out for you.

Members Tim in WV
ti flats are the shiznitters. I use them on my SX and I can get any tone I desire by tweaking knobs or changing playing style. honestly, I cant see how people can play using roundwound strings. They hurt my fingers majorly. Members Dragoon
I need to re-string my Jazz soon. Maybe I'll go with a good set of flats
Members Bluescout
I put flatties on my P and they are the best. A little more bottom and thud. It's great.
Members T. Alan Smith
Flats rawk! They don't replace rounds for me, but they're certainly a breath of fresh air.
