Members Mudbass
For the better part of a month I've been threatening to pull the trigger on a Marshall VBA 400. I'm getting a little tired of sophisticated hi-brow stuff like my Crest/Alembic/Eden and hankerin for something that's downright raunchy, fugly, nasty and mean. The Marshall's been lookin damned good lately. Somebody talk some sense into me!

Nope, but I've always been strangely attracted to the sound of Marshall bass amps. I never considered going with Marshall because I never wanted to have to lug around three two or three stacks to get enough power.
Members theoriz
I love their old stuff. Kinda like peavey, but better IMHO.
Members J the D
I'd look for a used Fender Bassman 135 and have it refurbished. While the Fender won't have the watts the Brit has the Fender's tone will blow the Marshall away. Run it into a 4 ohm cabinet and you'll get all the raunch you can stand.
