Members basste
Hi all I actually re-build an old bass i started to convert in fretless three years ago.. I want to put in some passive P+J pickups. And after a deep checking, i have a choice to do that i would like to have advices from somebodies which use or know these three kits: Seymour Duncan SPB1+SJB1B, vintage or Seymour Duncan SPB2+SJB2B, hot vintage or Ken Armstrong SPB00 + SJB0B, vintage i'm after a "medium" tone, fat, with nice low ends, but no too treble. What about differences between SPB1+SJB1B kit and SPB2+SJB2B kit ? on the paper, SPB2+SJB2B would be more aggressive. But what about tone on your basses ? Is someone know tonal difference between Ken Armstrong and Duncans ? your advices ?
