This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures.

The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust.

The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed

The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver.

While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? -- 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each.

They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back shocks were driven through the floorboard.

The car, with FLA (naturally) plates, was headed for Clanton, AL where the couple presumably planned to build a new house.

I just saw a couple days ago a car with a matress on the roof, and four guys in the car each with one arm out holding it down! This stuff happens everywhere, not just Florida. You should see what drives by when you live near Wisconsin!;)

Yeah, me too! The guys I saw had mattress AND box spring... nothing holding it except their arms. Not trying to one-up you, but this car only had TWO guys!

Yes, they fell off.

Only in Florida.

I'm still patiently waiting for the outpouring of protests by all those feminist groups demanding that the teacher who slept with her 14 -year-old student be prosecuted! We are in favor of equal rights, aren't we? Would they not protest if that teacher were a man whose charges were dropped?

She'd already accepted a plea bargain in Hillsborough County and the charges that were dropped in Marion County were repetitious. She is still paying for her actions. One of the things she has to deal with is she is now classified as a sexual predator for life.

The 14-year old said that he didn't tell anyone because he didn't want anyone to know.

Hell, when I was 14 and if I had been tapping THAT....I'd have told everyone I know and a whole bunch that I didn't know.

:D

Just a point that "equal rights" isn't always applied equally, even by feminists.

Ohh..my idea of a "full size" bale of hay is roughly 1500lbs worth of that grassy substance you're referring to. Huge cylindrical shaped things that could feed around 60 cows.

I was just trying to picture that and couldn't.

I'm talking about the rectangular ones... much smaller. But I wouldn't put it past someone to try the huge round bales.
