Narrowed it down to TAD RT001/RT003 - 12ax7JJ ECC83 SElectro Harmonix 12ax7 Currently have a set of Sovtek 12ax7wb in the amp, there not the best. Any advice would be great. Members Thumper Posted May 21, 2006 Members Share Posted May 21, 2006 The JJ ECC83 S is a good tube. I'm using Phillips JAN 12AX7s in my silverface Princeton Reverb and Tube Works Blue Tube pedal.
