Members MrJoshua
Any good free ones out there? I don't mind buying one if that's the only way to get quality, but I thought I'd ask if anyone here used a free one they liked and knew worked well. I want to create an image of the system partition on my ProTools computer (and, heck, probably this computer, too) so if anything should happen, I can restore a disk image to get running again instead of having to reload the OS and reinstall programs and such manually. Members ZedsDead
I don't know of any good freeware image utilities. I've been using Drive Image for years and it works perfectly. I think they were bought out by Symantec and incorporated into Norton Ghost. Anyway, if you can get your hands on an old copy of Drive Image 4.0 + (it's free if you look hard enough... pre 4.0 doesn't support NTFS file systems very well), that is all you'll need.
