Yeah, so one of my contractors offered me a full time position that allowed me to work from home (and paid more)... so I accepted and immediately went out and bought a new car (old one had problems with AWD unit). Showed up for work on first day and they dissolved the company and laid 27 people (of a 38 person company) off. Luckily, they kept me.
