Members The Aardvark
Our basement is always killing lightbulbs. I've been putting 60 watt bulbs in and they last about two to three months tops. Does that mean that I need to put in higher or lower wattage bulbs? I'm dumb when it comes to this stuff. Members 78pbass
Nope, go with florescents. the power in the sockets is unclean and fluctuate and causing the filament to fail when the power spikes.
Members Ace Of Bass
I was also going to say switch to the energy-saving florencents. As an added bonus, many come with a warrenty or guarentee that they'll last at least one year. They're usually about 2-3 dollars each, but you'll save a lot of money in the long run
