Its an envelope filter, which means its like a wah, but it "wahs" based on the volume rather than a mechanical device. The Bassballs doesn't really do the old-school funk wah either ala Funkadelic, its something different unto itself. If you want to try to find a place for it in your music, by all means get one. Its just not a very versatile unit. Oh, and the distortion mode on it sucks for everything except "Sir Psycho Sexy." Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
