Members collinwho
for my favorite/only bass. So I decided to give it a setup today, and its back! The action had gotten a little high, but now that it is back down to where I used to have it, I'm loving it again. I do have a question, though. Is there a good way to adjust the pole pieces without removing the pickups? I'd like to lower a couple because they are getting fairly close to the strings, but I've never adjusted the pole pieces before. Thoughts?
Members Fran da Man
Can't you just lower the pickups?
Members collinwho
I could, but ideally, I would like to get it further from the D string without moving it away from the G string. Adjusting the pickup itself won't do that .
Members Thumper
If it's a Jazz, I don't think it will have adjustable poles. Just lower the pups.
