I always get slammed for it and what the hell I'll get slammed again. But as a bass player's opinion for 70's and 80's rock drumemrs I would put Copeland at the very top of the heap including above Peart. Peart can't improvise anywhere near Copeland. Copeland could easily pull off any Peart riff. Peart would be lucky to stand in Copeland's shadow. This video shows what an awesome drummer Copeland is.
