Members ryanstanley
i tried asking oj, but theyre about as helpful as a bunch of 4 year olds i need to modify my jag bass to where i can blend between pickups. how hard do you think that'd be?? //diagram-ocalypse!!!//
Moderators Kindness Posted March 16, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 16, 2007 I am not familiar with that wiring schematic, but at first glance it looks like you will have to a blend pot for the function of the switches along the lower horn. Alternatively, you could install another volume control and use the two volume controls to blend the pickups with both pickups on.
Members bassplayinguy
with such a complex wiring system that the jags have, you may want to go with 2 volumes. If you can get 2 stacked pots thats you best bet, that way you have 2 tone controls and 2 volumes. That way you can blend to you hearts content
Members Grumpy_Polecat
Ordinarily it's pretty easy. But in this case I wouldn't touch it.
