Members ZoSoIV
... to take a piece of music you own, and just cut out the guitar. This would allow me to simply follow a bass line in convoluted songs, and would make learning them inifinitely easier. Any known way of doing something like this? Members oldivor
It's called training your ear to pick out bass.
Members Grumpy_Polecat
It can be done, the same way as most Kaeroke is done, but it involves a very sophisticated EQ and the knowledge of what freqs fall in what ranges for what instruments. There's no way to do it in a completely lossless manner unless you have the original multitrack recording. Human voices have a far narrower bandwidth than guitars, so there are fewer losses in vocal elimination.
