Members The Aardvark
What are your experiences with a 4004? Do they sound like (or at least similar) to a Ric 4003? Is the only difference between the Laredo and the Cheyenne the wood used in the body? I love the sound of my Ric, but it isn't as comfortable playing as my other basses with a sculpted body shape and body contouring.
Members ThrashmetalErik
I just wish they made a 22 fret version
Members s4001
It's a softer sound than the 4003. Doesn't have as much of the Ric bite. I haven't had enough time to play one and dial it in to my preferences, but in Aug at the get-together I'll spend some time playing one.
Members BeeTL
I'm seriously thinking about ordering one. It will be a two year wait, but the dealer (Alto) is pricing it fairly. It's possible or even likely that I could sell it for mor than it costs if I don't like it.
