Members Guy Dudebro
I've seen Tributes with the standard G&L logo, and Tribute written very small beneath it. I've also seen Tributes with a solid black tribute logo with a small G&L beneath it. My question is: Is one version older or something? It seems like it's completely random if I order a Tribute, as to which headstock logo it will have. Not that it matters much, but I'd prefer one with the larger G&L logo on it. Any G&L Tribute owners know what I'm talking about?
Members caseyg1986
Yeah, the older Tribbys had the larger "Tribute" logo and the newer ones (not sure which year) have the G&L logo w/ the tribute logo underneath.
Members mike fitzwell
Yeah, the older Tribbys had the larger "Tribute" logo and the newer ones (not sure which year) have the G&L logo w/ the tribute logo underneath. When I bought mine last October I was told the new logo was starting then in conjunction with the move of their production from Korea to Indonesia. You'll also notice that the bridge is now stamped G&L instead of Tribute.
