Members guitargod0dmw
I would go for an HH or an HS personally. The single H will sound great, but really only get you one basic tone. The HH or HS will give you many more options. Piezo is nice, but only if you've got some nice quiet sections & a PA to really use it. I'd consider it mandatory if you were getting a fretless though...I've heard they work great together.
Members T. Alan Smith
What did you think of the single hums? I mean, both of mine are single hums...admittedly, the fretless 4 has the piezos as well, but with the right touch, one can get a LOT of sound out of a single 'buck. Check out my links, for example. Loved 'em. I know its my next bass - I just like having tonal options.I don't think I'd want the piezos... probly end up with a 4HH setup, but I'm curious about the HS. Anyone here use a 4/5HS ?? Members whoneedstherapy
How are the $$s? I remember playing one at Guitar Center maybe a year ago. Sounded great. Heavy as {censored} and the neck was beastly? Other than that I loved it, I think. I love mine to death. It's alot lighter than the last stingray i strapped on (30th anni) and sounds fantastic

Members Undead Sycip
Singe H is just fine Mine both have piezo bridges. I blend towards the bucker for a big fat sound and towards the piezo for more presence without turning the volume up. And of course, choosing the piezo option also gets you the 4 band EQ.
