Members willsellout
So after thinking about it, I'm not all too sure I am going to get a custom made. I'm having a hard time justifying it really. Eventually I want to have Pete build me a custom but I really can't talk myself into it. The next bass I want to try out is the Modulus Flea 5. I love his sound and it's pretty much what I want to sound like...does anyone own one? Dan
Members rummy
Specs on the custom? I've only tried the Flea 4. Nifty bass with a wild neck.
Members Jugghaid
he used a Pedulla Rapture and a Stingray as well over the years. I don't think his tone comes as much frmo his bass as his hands.

Members rummy
I mean the looks wise. It looks like what it is; layers of carbon fiber. It feels kinda hard and glossy. I didn't like that.
Moderators Kindness Posted August 21, 2007 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2007 I mean the looks wise. It looks like what it is; layers of carbon fiber. It feels kinda hard and glossy. I didn't like that. I have a psychological barrier with the graphite necks at the moment because I haven't spent enough time with one to have it look natural to me. I imagine it wouldn't take long to get used to if I otherwise liked the bass. Don't worry about it Dan, Pete can always make you another at a later date. Members rummy
Totally. And, that synthetic stuff fingerboard doesn't help, either.
