Moderators Kindness Posted September 3, 2007 Moderators Share Posted September 3, 2007 I've never seen one in real life, just on eBay. I'm probably not of much help, but what does it sound like? Are all of the controls functioning (volume, tone, or whatever)? These basses have a neck and a bridge pickup, right?

Members Texas Noise Factory
I've played quite a few of them in pawn shops locally through the years. I've never played one with good action, and I've never played on one that sounded good. The guitar versions are halfway decent, but I think that the electronics in the basses are pretty crappy. Could be a good Darkstar candidate though...
Members Saturday
darkstar? never heard one. it would be hilarous to put a 200$ pickup in a 100$ bass. but if the wood is good...
