Members Flod Posted September 9, 2007 Members Share Posted September 9, 2007 So, I have this Status that I'm thinking of changing preamp in, as the current one doesn't "do it" (Space Balls style) for me. I don't know exactly what it is about it I don't like, only that it's brothers passive tone control sounds heaps better. What I'm thinking is that this bass active PU's would overload a normal onboard preamp. Am I worrying for nothing? Another though: If I should decide to install dual passive tone controls, what should I get? I need quite a bitt of treble cut, as these PU's have a nasty strong treble... Thanks in advance.
