Check what it's "really" worth and use that as leverage.Word Up to your Mother and also to you as the person who will deal with the insurance company....My mom totaled her car a couple years ago...it was a completely cherry old lady car and they tried to low ball me on the settlement....{censored}ersdo NOT take the first offer....or I'll stop this car and come back there and whip your ass....is that what you want...?
