Members #6
Hey all...trying to think of a band i've not really heard to get a couple albums by...i remember 'run runaway' from my teen years, but thats all i know, aside from the spellings and that quiet riot took their biggest hits from them... any slade fans out there? recommendations? Members hawkhuff
They have a great re-make of Janis Joplins "Move Over". Fabulous bass part. Their first album, Slade is the one with which I am familiar.
Members flatcat
I have "Sladest", which is the one that Quiet Riot took those three songs from. That's a great record. The mixes are a little weird, lots of echo on everything kind-of, but they rocked. I love the singer's voice.
Members Renfield
Years ago, I found 2 old Slade LP's in a box, they weren't mine, I have NO idea how I came to acquire them. They were good condition, so I put them on ebay with $0.01 to start and no reserve. One sold for $65US and the other for $85US, and this was about 6-7 years ago when your money still had more value than Indonesian Camel dung. :poke: Turns out LP's manufactured in Canada is consider an import in Italy, where "the world's biggest Slade fan" resides. Thanks dude, whoever you are. That is all.
