Members RoboChrist
See for yourself and tell me this isn't the same cat: Grady pictured on the far right - and Chuck - The resemblance is spooky. Probably played the bass line on the show theme too.
Members bassment zombie
Nice find - I loved Sanford & Son and watched it all the time growing up By the way - Chuck Rainey makes that 6 string Spector look like a short scale - he must be one big dude! Members james on bass
I used to love that show! Haven't seen it in years. now that I see the picture, I seem to recall Agedhorse telling us Chuck was on board with GB. When did he start using Spector? Members __tony__renaud
Rainey played on the "Sanford" theme, as well as "The Jeffersons" theme. He's been playing Spectors on and off for many years. I've seen him with Yamaha, Warrior, and Adler basses in the past, but the bass he established and kept his rep with was a Fender. He was pictured with a Fodera in an old Bass Player mag interview as well.
