Members fretless
Does anyone own or have played acryilcized? How does it feel? Does it cause neck dive? like a diamond coat or some such ? Do you have a link to said "acryilcized fingerboard" if you mean like the Pedulla fingerboard coating " Diamond coat " then this doesn't really affect neck dive , my guess is it adds a oz. give or take . It feels like ice .
Members James Hart
Does it cause neck dive? no... and if swapping just a fingerboard causes dive the builder needs to rethink his design. Members fretless
it's a treatment to the wood.... not a coatinghttp://bassnutz.com/showthread.php?t=2017 interesting"acrylized woods might be a bridge between wood and graphite tones with added clarity" So it's mainly for durability ? A new kinda finish . I would probably like it , does he do necks from other instruments like a Warmoth ?
Members L-1329
The stuff is silky smooth... the best feeling neck / board I've ever played. +1 I have a fretless with an acrylized macassar ebony board that feels perfect. Couldn't ask for better.
