ET-280

epiphoneET-2803332.jpg

I have one of those beeches . . . it's the Epiphone ET-280. Mine needs work so it's not in play lately. A waiting project, but haven't decided whether to just repair it and keep it 'vintage' (the PU's do sound good . . . nothin' fancy, but some good classic Thump!), or upgrade with modern everything (stayin' passive).

Thats it cool thanks. Do you think they are worth $1,000,000,000.00?

They're regularly on thEbay from what I've seen, so you can find current street value there. As I recall it, I gave slightly under 1 mil for mine, so I doubt they're worth is up to $1billion just yet.

They're nice basses. I played one for a while in high school. I've seen them go for about $300 in good condition.

Nice basses?? Well, thats not the word I would use, interesting or "vintage cheap-ass bass tone" maybe...

Here's mine. Apparently the ET-280 was part of a series of guitars and basses that were made by the Matsumoku factory. They were rebadged under the epi brand and Ventura and a few other brands.
