Members poomwah
is there any kind of paint that will stick to speakers but at the same time won't damage them?
Members Renfield
Not really no. It will change the density of the drivers which will effect tone. If you slop a little extra on in a spot, then the driver is off balance and will start to vibrate funny and likely fail at some point. You might be able to find a way to tint the doping compound that is used to waterproof drivers. It's naturally shiny black though, so I doubt it. Members FuzzyJackrabbit
I had a friend that had a 19" subwoofer in college. He had painted the cone on it because the paper was cracking. Honestly, I wouldn't have known if it would have affected the frequency response, because it only amplified the really low frequencies in av setups. Not to usefull for musical instruments.
