Members poomwah
are there any techniques or products that allow you to stain or tint a clear coat that is already cured? maybe sand the clear until its "frosty" then apply dye? any ideas? Members fretless
if it's poly it's more work , sand it down to the sealer and hit it with http://reranchstore.stores.yahoo.net/tinclearcoat.html if you just spray it on over poly, it would probably chip off , I don't think there is much that can be done with dye unless you take it down to raw wood . Members fretless
did you want to color it ? That can be done by using a spray gun , you would mix color to a clear .

Members knuckle_head
If you tint shellac and apply it to your clear coat then clear coat again that would work - shellac sticks to everything, and everything sticks to shellac. Members georgestrings
I saw a Spector Q4 on GC's used gear page yesterday that looked like a smokin deal at $250 - I wouldn't mind having that... Anyways, I'm sure you'll be happy with your new Schecter, Poomwah... - georgestrings
