Members Ender_rpm
I own the 800 pro head, and have played the 210 combo, but never the cabs, sorry FWIW, the combo had a very nice sound, very full even with a 5 string. That's why I bought the head, and use it with an Avatar 410 Neo.
Members Poltergeist
it's wierd that there's lack of information about Fender bass amplification.
Members Ender_rpm
Not really. Most bass players think GK, Ampeg, GB, etc when it comes to bass, because Fender dropped the ball so entirely for most of the last couple decades. All they had were the small practice amps, and like a US car company, if your small cars suck, when people grow up and want to upgrade, they won't buy your big cars. But the Pro series really is good, it's the only amp I've plugged into that sounded exactly right with everything set flat. It's clear without being harsh, and really freakin loud
Members Poltergeist
the Pros are supposed to be Sunn clones, right?

Members burdizzos
Did you get the slant cab? That seems like a good idea. It looks like Fender used the same philosophy that Kustom did with their groove bass boxes. They got custom Eminence drivers and put them in a big ass box. The result is good efficiency with better than average low end response for a 10" loaded cab.
Members jasper383
What are the advantages of a slant cab? Does the slant model have casters? Does it have to go on the top of a stack, or can it be used on the floor? That's a great price on a solid sounding cab. There was a used one at a shop here that sounded good. For $399 new, it'll sound even better.
Members burdizzos
The advantage of the slant cab is that you have two speakers firing up at your ears on stage rather than at you ass. So you can hear yourself better without turning up the volume too much.

Members burdizzos
"Only" 156 pounds for an 8x10 stack. Sweet! I'm sure it will make for a great sounding rig, but I wouldn't want to haul it around.
