Members Reverend179
Dubsound comes from big ol' speakers and EQ'ing. 15 and 18 inch speakers are your friend.
Members BassMaster General
For a super deep dub sound I use an old DOD envelope filter pedal with the filter turned way up so the effect doesn't trigger.
Members b_ryceeeee
maybe not so much of a deep dub sound but something just to give the bass a little more output rather than putting a preamp in it.

Members Super Bass
Boost some bass on your amp. Turn down the level of the bridge pickup on your bass. Pluck the strings over the end of the neck. This should get you most of the way there.
