Members james on bass
Is there a way to transfer the library of tunes on my iPod to a new computer that does not have my library saved? I have auto-sync turned off. It will not let me cut & paste to a different location.
Members Super_Donut_Man
From my experience is you have to download a program, the name escapes me right now. I will post it, if nobody has not already, when I get home.

Try www.sharepod.com I think you will have to download it onto your new computer , then it will pull your data from your iPOD. It's been a while since I used it so you might want to do a little research into it before you jump right in.

Members dravenzouk
I've used both sharepod and yamipod in the past with good results and no hassles. But it's been a long time since I did so. Either one (as freeware) are worth look into.

It will not let me cut & paste to a different location.I purchased a program called "MediaWidget". It was around 20 or 30 bucks, but it completely eliminates the need for iTunes and allows even your iTune setup library on your iPod to act as normal directory of songs. You can created and modify playlists etc., or simply download all or part of your library directly to your computer. Great gadget.
