Members cherri
I've seen a handful of live bands in the last month, mostly local. Two of them had twenty-something female singers. Both were composted of 60 - 75 year old musicians. Both gals had gum in their mouths for the entire time I was there. When they weren't singing lead on a song, they were chomping on their gum. Verse, chomp chomp, chorus, chomp chomp ... it was both distracting and unappealing. Thoughts?

Members stilettoechoes
Wow, I've never heard of such a thing. How trashy. They couldn't have been singing all that well or doing anything complex. I hate it when female singers detract from the respect and ability us others are trying to further. Members Kentrel
Isn't that a very 80's punk girl band thing to do? What kind of music were they playing?
Members flemtone
Sounds nasty, Cherri. Maybe they were going thru 'text-message-withdrawal' and just had to keep active... Were they just a bunch of Susan Tedeschi wanna-be's or did they bring something original to the table? Oh, and 60 - 75 year old musicians...that's a lot of 75 year-old musicians! Musta been crowded up there...

Members micwalt
Both were composted of 60 - 75 year old musicians. Thoughts? I've been thinking of getting into composting, but I never thought of using 60 - 75-year-old musicians to do it.

Members Lost_Cause
Jimi is the only person I remember singing and chewing gum regularly. I could never chew gum and sing well (if ever). I think I even choked once attempting to do that.
Members NeverTheMachine
Maybe it was invisible cocaine induced gum? You know .... singers.
Members 5THSINGER
Maybe it was invisible cocaine induced gum? You know .... singers. Hey...watch it now!!! I've seen Dave Grohl and Geoff Tate chompin' on gum onstage. I've done it when I have a "scratchy" throat from a cold or allergies...keep's the pipes "lubed up". But if somebody is onstage chewin' it like a Cow chewin' CUD....especially a lady, well......
