Members samson3382
When I was oh 9 or 10 me and a couple of my friends used to buy those old old desktop hi-fi stereos and mess around with different speaker combinations and stuff. Some of it sounded OK. One day I was at his house and he was showing me his latest project, it was distorting badly and I said, "ug you should turn it down or turn down the bass, its distorted". He got defensive and said to me "your speakers sound like that too. You just don't hear it because they are yours" I don't think that was actually the case, but it made me think and makes me think to this day.. especially now as an adult when i hear someone playing through a rig that obviously sounds like ass and then says, "sounds pretty good huh"

Moderators Kindness Posted May 6, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 6, 2009 "sounds pretty good huh" I usually don't answer that question. It's only when someone comes to me and says they need something different that I show them what's going on and how to address the issues.
