Members vladoicho
Leaving tonight for Novarock, a festival near Vienna. The main bands for me are Faith No More and Nine Inch Nails on Friday It's gonna be a hell of a first night! Unfortunately Slipknot overlaps with FNM and NIN, but I've seen them on the Subliminal Verses tour, and don't particularly care about the new album, so whatever. But FNM and NIN... that's truly a dream come true! Plenty of other great bands, but it's worth it for these two alone!

Members Taustin Powers
Seeing both FNM and NIN this weekend as well, at the Hurricane Festival. Add to that Franz Ferdinand, Kraftwerk, Editors, Disturbed, Nick Cave, Ben Harper, Pixies, Mars Volta, Moby...
Members vladoicho
FNM was easily the best show I've been to in recent memory! Of course, I'm a FNM fanboi, but whatever. Here's an album detailing the incredible pig-sty the whole festival turned into... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2916099&id=534713635&comments=#/album.php?aid=123000&id=652477781&ref=mf#/album.php?aid=123000&id=652477781&ref=mf

Members bassesofalessergod
the dubbo show is in August as well. It isn't a festival show so the set list should be a bit longer.

Members bassesofalessergod
How is the concert scene over there? not great. all the big tours and bands come through, but you don't really get the mid-level to smallish shows making the trip over here. It isn't like NY, SF or London where literally every band comes through on every tour.
Members vladoicho
BOALG, I have no idea how much money you're willing to spend, but you may consider the option of actually seeing FNM in Bulgaria in August. The tickets are dirt cheap (~50 euro for the whole festival, and I would imagine ~20 euro for a single day pass), low cost plane tickets are usually reasonable. There's gonna be a camp site as well or accomodation shouldn't break the bank either. here's the festival website, even though it's pretty empty at the moment http://www.spiritofburgas.com/main/setLanguage/en Also, I don't imagine they'll run out of tickets...
