Members gonzobassman
Hey guys,I found an Ampeg SVT-AV model amp at a local pawn shop. They have a decent price on it,but the AV is the question. I am not familiar enough to know what that stands for. The amp looks brand new,is a 300 watt amp which leads me to believe it is a real deal old SVT. Anyone know anything about this?
Members Kaesh
AV stands for anniversary, it's a reissue. Basically a SVT-CL with different aesthethics.

CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted November 24, 2010 CMS Author Share Posted November 24, 2010 The price is high if it needs tubes. They'll set you back several hundred bucks. That amp sold for about $1,700 new.
