Members Ripfence
Has anyone tried the LD300 or the LD400? What were your thoughts? Do you think they would cut at a live gig?
Members JeffBass
Has anyone tried the LD300 or the LD400?What were your thoughts? Do you think they would cut at a live gig? Good amps. Two friends of mine have gigged regularly with them and have no problem with volume. Good workhorse type of amps. Decent, usable effects also. One guy sold the 220w Ampeg 15" combo for the LowDown 300 and he's very happy with it.

I tried one and liked the tone and the features but I wasn't sure about the build quality.
Members RSBro
Yup, the 300W 15" job is a killer combo.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted January 4, 2011 CMS Author Share Posted January 4, 2011 I've had the LD150 for about 4 years as a practice amp and am very happy with it. It's *almost* enough for small gigs, so I'd imagine the bigger brothers would do okay as well.
Members bassandgolf
I use an LD 150 w/ 1 12" for practice and very small gigs (usually DI to the PA too). It does the job. Don't depend on the built in tuner in the sun... you will never see it. Jim
