Members Perfessor
From a project song I'm working on, a new one just whipped up a couple dozen bars on the fretless and an acoustic. Would appreciate opinions about the bass tone The bass tone sounds just right for the acoustic sound. I've always liked the combination of fretless and acoustic. Like to hear more or a full band with it.

Members starfire_Xes
My own opinion, I love the woody, punchy tone of maple, and I think the extra 3 frets (24 fret bass neck) adds some tonality also. Very, very fast neck, and a great choice for fretless. I'm using Heavy gauge daddario super bright round wounds....well, the piece is just a bit of a project which may be a while before I finish, but I will eventually post it.
