The last bass i bought was a gary willis GWB1 back on 2004.MY wife surprised me with a gift. She said i could get new toys to celebrate the fact that I've been playing bass for 20 years and...that she was pregnant! I've been a Carvin fan boy deep down inside since i was in high school. My first-ever custom bass was a fretless LB76, which i had to sell a few months back (econ and all) but things are lookin up...here are my new goodies and I am very very impressed with the craftsmanship playability and sound.
