Members fastplant
Usually the cheesier the better. Like Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, right now 500 Miles is getting alot of attention.

Members Cortfan
At the bars we play, I'm tempted to do 1 set of Skynyrd, 1 set of CCR, 1 set of AC/DC, and 1 set of Aerosmith, and see if anyone complains.

Members srsfallriver
I'm pretty sure there are already a couple threads like this. My band does weddings mostly but we grew out of a Boston club band and still occasionally do clubs. Our "hit 'em hard" set changes with each gig. You have to feel out your crowd in order to come up with the right tunes. Here are some that we usually do: Funky Music Brown Eyed Girl Can't Help Myself Mustang Sally Brick House Me & Julio Old Time R&R Respect I Will Survive Hard To Handle December '63 Sweet Caroline Preacher Man Check out the "song list" section of my band's website for more ideas if you like. www.the-RETURN.net
