Or is it more of a "it takes money to make money" situation, where if you buy a lot of equipment from MF, your name shows up in a data base more often and it's more likely to show up in the winners column? Members Scafeets Posted October 31, 2005 Members Share Posted October 31, 2005 Yeah, when they first started doing it about 4 years ago, I won $1,000 worth of Elixer strings. Of course, even at MF prices, that's not exactly a lifetime supply; but it was enough to keep me in strings on a lot of guitars and basses. I still have a few sets of acoustic and one more bass set.
